Description
You can just make out the turbulence equation swirling amid the sky. This sturdy and durable art print doubles as a postcard! Jupiter's red 'eye' and interstellar dust clouds are just a couple of examples of turbulence flow found in nature. In the early 2000's researchers digitized a selection of Van Gogh's paintings, and measured the luminance between any two pixels. They came to the conclusion that some of his paintings ('Starry Night' was one of them) displayed patterns incredibly similar to those found in fluid turbulence models. Amazing!
